We’re excited to announce our upcoming show, "Art In Life," featuring the bold stillscape paintings of James Borger and the whimsical, playful ceramics of Chris Alveshere. Borger's work highlights his transition from depicting everyday objects in outdoor stillscapes to interior scenes with abstract backgrounds. Alveshere’s colorful pottery infuses humor and charm into functional forms. After earning a BFA in painting in 1983 from the University of Kansas, he transitioned uniquely to photography after having seen the work of Lewis Baltz and Robert Frank during his senior year.
