DESCRIPTION:First Friday | November 1st 5:30 – 9:00 PM\n“LIGHTHOUSE” : A new solo exhibition featuring Josh Tripoli. \nThe show features a body of figurative work that’s been developed over the course of two years by Josh Tripoli. “LIGHTHOUSE” opens November 1st at the Reuben Saunders Gallery and runs through December 2nd. \nThe idea for “LIGHTHOUSE” originates in the Bible’s\, “bodies are temples” verse (1 Corinthians 6:19)\, which found a creatively compelling analogue in the body as a lighthouse. Light as awareness\, revealer\, a benevolent\, guiding beacon. House a seafarer’s haven\, a return from the wonders and tumults of love\, empathy\, compassion\, joy\, envy\, pride\, violence\, and fear.
