Sheldon Ganstrom
A native to Kansas, Sheldon Ganstrom has a degree in art education from Kansas State University and taught for 11 years. For the past thirty plus years Sheldon has utilized electric kilns and post fire reduction in his rich and often elaborate ceramic work. Most of his work is influenced by ancient and contemporary architecture with the continuing disintegration of man’s surroundings, often reflective of spiritual or ceremonial motifs. His work is in public, corporate and private collections world wide and has been featured in numerous publications.
