Kent  Williams

For twenty-three years Kent Williams Environmental Design (kwed) has provided consultation and delivered works on numerous private and public projects on schedule and within budget.  Through the synthesis of art, architecture, product-design and engineering, Kent engages professionals and community toward the collective creation of more beautiful places to visit and live.

Kent was born in Wichita, Kansas, where he grew up playing saxophone, piano and oboe, riding dirt-bikes and shooting photographs.  Kent initiated a robust studio practice in 1989 with Fisch Haus and partners in Wichita, and has explored communities, built studios and practiced in Berkeley, San Francisco, Woodside, Echo Park, Mount Washington (Los Angeles), Seattle, Lower Puna (Hawaii), Buck Creek Valley and Lawrence (Kansas).
