“The Mountains Are Calling”

John Muir famously said “The mountains are calling and I must go.”  Reuben Saunders Gallery is proud to feature an invitational exhibition featuring fifteen nationally prominent artists who have also answered the call, specializing in artwork of the Rocky Mountains: Chula Beauregard, Steamboat Springs, CO; Lorenzo Chavez, Parker, CO; Mark Flickinger, Arkansas City, KS; Debra Joy Groesser, Ralston, NE; David Harms, Centennial, CO; Peggy Immel, Taos, NM; Kate Kiesler, Breckenridge, CO; Leon Loughridge, Denver, CO; Stuart Loughridge, St. Paul, MN; Kim Mackey, Pueblo, CO; Stacey Peterson, Evergreen, CO; Clare Scott, Lafayette, CO; Phil Starke, Tucson, AZ; Brad Teare, Providence, UT; Dan Young, Rifle, CO.  All works in the show will be For Sale.

During the exhibition we will also feature paintings and prints in our Estate Gallery by well-known Kansas artists who also chose the Rocky Mountains as an inspiration:  Prairie Print Makers Arthur Hall, Norma Bassett Hall, and Lloyd Foltz; well-known Wichita State University painter, Clayton Henri Staples; and Colorado artist-print maker, Lyman Byxbe.
