Rudy Pozzatti

Rudy Pozzatti is a celebrated artist, printmaker, and teacher who developed Indiana University’s printmaking program, which is considered to be one of the finest in the country. Pozzatti is a Distinguished Professor of Fine Arts, Emeritus at Indiana University. In addition to teaching and exhibiting, he traveled to the Soviet Union as an arts ambassador for the United States and studied traditional woodblock printing in Japan. Pozzatti founded Echo Press with fellow printmaker David Keister in 1979. Today, Rudy’s pursuits are simple: “I simply want to continue my creative pursuits without the pressure of specific projects.”
