James Swann

(1905-1985)     A well-respected Midwestern printmaker working in etching, aquatint, lithograph and drypoint.  A close friend of Bertha Jaques and a member of the Chicago Society of Etchers.  As an active member of the Prairie Print Makers he sought to widen their exposure in the larger print community.
