Doug Osa

Doug Osa received bachelors degrees in biology and fine art from Kansas State University and an MFA in drawing and painting from the University of Kansas. He also studied figure drawing and painting at the Art Students League in New York City and drawing at the Kansas City Art Institute. His work has been included in many solo, group and juried exhibitions and has received awards from the American Artists’ Professional League and the Allied Artists of America.

Doug Osa draws inspiration from things like spending time with his grand kids, the character of the declining structures in Kansas City, and the landscapes near his home in Olathe.
