(1921-1999) Crucita Calabaza was a Native American artist known for her traditional Pueblo style pottery. She worked in black and red ware and reintroduced polychrome ware. She was from the San Ildefonso Pueblo, near Santa Fe, New Mexico. During her Native American naming ceremony she was given the name Blue Corn.
